I am about to publish a video. Which thumbnail would you pick?
Personally, I like 4 or 5. I they provide an accurate benefit statement that is interesting for anyone.
I ended up letting Gemini convince me that
Graph View Fixed is the better title. But I am still unsure. I did clean up the image a bit to reduce noise.
Coding is easy. Thumbnails and titles are hard…

Hey folks, I recently discovered K-Plex and am super excited to try it. I have long been looking for a tool that will help me navigate the knowledge space of notes and articles that I have in Obsidian. Ultimately I want a tool that will help me visualize the relationship between concepts so I can learn faster.
I have been using Karapthay’s llm-wiki skill to process articles and notes. I added some additional features like extracting concepts and labeling them with a property so I can keep track of what meta-concepts I am learning.
So do I have to tell K-Plex what schema I am using for my notes? Or is there a K-Plex schema I need to use?

Are there specific things I could help check or just if I come across an issue, check that it happens in that vault too before reporting it?

I really liked the video and i think K-Plex is awesome and i can’t wait to start using it.
If your still taking suggestion, I was wondering if there are any plans or I would like to know your thoughts about allowing a single image displayed within the nodes? Similar to cards and if there will be color coding the nodes?

The image is absolutely on my radar. sizing is an issue, likely the image is going to be small that enlarges if you move the mouse over it.

This looks really great. I’ve used TheBrain for many years and excited to see what I can do with K-Plex. I need to play with it a bit more before even knowing what I might suggest (if anything)

Based on what is described as ‘card forcing function’ in @Zsolt ‘s book (Sketch your mind) I’m applying ‘idea passport’ cards, actually rectangles with golden ratio and about 2/3 of the card’s area reserved for an meaningful icon/illustration representing the core of the idea - and precise text explaining the idea in the remaining 1/3 of the area. Here an example:
With these cards I’m manually building up my MoCs (map of contents) to have some scaffolds in my PKM or on IIBs (idea integration boards) of different topics. Here an example of my EA-scripts topic:
On each single IIB note the idea card serves as root note of a mind map or to link notes to it via the ‘capture note script’.
It would be very interesting to have the icon and description of these cards being implemented in K-Plex so that a smart applied ontology could be used to run through and maintain the navigation automatically considering also ‘friends’ and ‘siblings/challenges’ between the ideas/cards.

Expanding all nodes into images will likely be performance prohibited, but having the central node displayed could be a nice idea.

This is amazing! I always had a love-hate relationship with Excalibrain. The concept was great, some things just didn´t feel quite polished. So I am very excited to open K-Plex and to see it already in such an advanced state, right at the beginning of development. Great Work!
One question, couldn´t find the answer in above posts, will there be a possibility to style Nodes by tags? Right now I only see the opportunity to style them by the property “note type”. I use the plugin “Supercharged Links” to style inline Links by tag and it would be great to get something like that for K-Plex.
